I have never wanted to hurt anybody and I certainly never wanted to shoot someone so I found the idea of paintball a little strange. There are two guys at my work who regularly go off at weekends to play paintball in the woods. They could never convince me there was any point to getting shot at with paint pellets while you got cold and wet in the woods.

After weeks of being invited to join them I had a free weekend and so I thought why not go and see for myself, so I agreed to go and play paintball in the woods out of town. I felt rather nervous as we left the town heading for the paintball site because I hardly knew what was in store for me.

The following morning I was kitted out with protective clothing and told never to remove my face mask while on the paintball fighting area. Next I was shown how to operate a simple paintball gun and the we were off to my first paintball fight. I stood there looking around and straight away was hit by a paint ball which left a bright yellow smear on my coat. I never even got to see who it was that shot me and I realised I had a lot to learn about paintballing.

The other people there turned out to be a great bunch and I just had such a good time. If I had a dollar for each time I got hit I would be rich but I also shot a few of the guys and I just had such a terrific time that weekend. The protective clothing gives a degree of protection but there is always a bit of a sting from the paintball hitting you. It's just part of the fun of the game.

You might guess I am now a regular paintball player and most weekends you will find me out in the woods with my cheap paintball gun. Cheap paintball gear is good enough to start with and if you want to progress to more expensive gear you can do this over a period of time but cheap gear will do fine to get you started.

The XM8 airsoft gun is a replica gun based on the XM8 lightweight assault rifle and is used in the game of airsoft. The actual XM8 was developed by the US army in the 1990s and continues in develop to present day. The project of creating the XM8 was originally supposed to be for military personnel and was to be used as the top infantry weapon, but this project has since been scrapped due to undisclosed reasons. There is massive speculation, part of which likely fuels the popularity of using the XM8 airsoft gun in competitions and in adventure games.

Using an XM8 airsoft gun should only take place in a combat games environment and should only be used in the context of these games. Using this weapon for any other purpose can result in some serious charges and consequences, including the possibility of self-injury or accidental death. The XM8 looks a lot like its real counterpart and is often confused for a real firearm. For this reason, keep the XM8 airsoft gun in its case at all times when it is not being used and ensure that you have adequate protection as well. Keeping an eye on safety regulations is a good idea, always.

Taking It Into Battle

The actual XM8 is entirely composite with the exception being the forged steel barrel. The rest of it is completely capable of being instantly dismantled or repositioned. This makes this lightweight gun a favourite component to any arsenal. An XM8 airsoft gun offers the same lightweight feel and remains very popular because of its closeness to a composite gun in both sleekness and in size. It is a very stylish gun, too, and is a favourite among those airsoft players that play for the look of the game as much as they play for the adventure and the skill of adventure shooting.

For adventure shooting and survival, the XM8 airsoft gun is very efficient and qualifies perfectly as a nice lightweight option for your shooting game. You can add it to your entire arsenal and use it as a finishing gun, too, for those smaller firefights within closer proximities that a larger gun may not cover as well. The choice is yours, but the XM8 airsoft gun brings a lot of versatility to the game. Finding a gun this tactical and this versatile is a rarity in the sport.

You can capture the vintage historical feel of World War 2 as an era and as an important time in history with a World War Two airsoft gun replica. This pellet-firing gun is either electrically powered or gas powered and can come with spring loading features to create the most perfect and intriguing historical experience. With a World War Two airsoft gun, you can recapture some of the feeling of those days without having to have been there. That is something you cannot put a price tag on.

Putting a price tag on a World War Two airsoft gun might seem like a complicated matter when you consider all of the variables involved in selling replica items from that era. You would have to look into the replica’s quality itself, first, and test it for deficiencies in the material and in the manufacturing. Once this has been tasted, the best pursuit of action to take next is to check the overall book value of such a replica with some experts. You can consult antique experts or gun experts and check out their valuable opinions with your merchandise. You should be able to make a ballpark figure guess at the overall value of your replica airsoft gun from that point.

If you cannot find the value through any of those means, there is still an option. You can check out internet web communities that may feature conversations with war veterans or other members of society with a vested interest in such items. From there, you can develop conversations and show photos of your replica World War Two airsoft gun. Opinions as to the look and validity of your gun will become apparent as you open a dialogue and this will help you find a basic sense of the value of your World War Two airsoft gun.

Reselling

From this point, you may wish to resell your gun or keep it as a collector’s item. I would recommend the latter in that replica items are generally highly valued as time passes. If money is an issue, however, there are several options available for the resale of your World War Two airsoft gun. You can investigate options such as auction houses and online selling techniques with a simple information package. From there, you should be able to pursue the sale of your item with confidence and knowledge to back the sale properly and efficiently.

A toy airsoft gun is a valuable addition to anyone’s arsenal that is in to survival games or war games. It may not be appropriate for younger children as it is not entirely a toy, but there are some strictly toy models of the airsoft gun that are available for those purposes. In this article we will discuss the toy model of the airsoft gun as represented by a non-firing replica of the weapon. This model is generally safe for children as there are no firing parts or other capabilities that may injure young kids and the operation of the model is relatively safe for all users.

The toy airsoft gun is often confused with the real counterpart, so this is the point at which a precautionary measure should be put into place. Ensure that your toy airsoft gun is only carried as a toy and is never treated as a concealed weapon of any sort. This includes not hiding it in baggage on vacations or not hiding it on your person so as to mimic the carrying of a real gun. Any behaviour involving anything that looks like a real gun will likely result in an awkward and possibly dangerous situation with a variety of people including law enforcement and civilians. In today’s emotional climate, it is important to consider that notion.

It Is Just A Toy

While at the end of the day, the toy airsoft gun is just a toy, it is important to realize that we live in a time of heightened sensitivity towards violence of any kind. We are very jumpy and edgy as a society and it is likely that any sign of violence in any form will be greeted with an explosive reaction from law enforcement or other authorities. While your toy airsoft gun is generally harmless, it is still a good idea to leave it at home when you travel (especially when you travel abroad) and ensure that it is locked away or kept in a safe place at all times.

Giving a toy airsoft gun to a child is generally safe, but you should consider the possible cultural ramifications it may infer before you give the gift. Do you want your child to be playing with lifelike guns or weapons? Do you know the message that may send about problems solving and other methodologies? If you are in complete agreement with your rationale for giving a toy airsoft gun as a gift to a child, please do so. They can be fun toys that offer great educational value.

Developed in Japan in the 1970s and having rules similar to paintball, airsoft is a game of strategic combat. Players of the game are divided into teams and then, while armed with their airsoft guns and ammo, compete in combat reenacting games to eliminate the other team. This is a quick paced game with military like overtones that provide exercise and fun role playing activities to those participating. This game, like paintball games, has a huge following that is rapidly growing in numbers.

While the guns shoot small gel-like paint filled capsules in regular paintball play, in airsoft, the guns shoot small plastic BB like pellets that will harmlessly bounce off the individual. As in paintball team play, protective gear is required, especially for the eyes. While the airsoft pellets may be harmless to the body, a direct hit to the eye by any flying object can be very dangerous and should be taken seriously. Eye protection worn when playing airsoft games or when you go paintballing should completely protect the eyes. The best protection while playing either sport would be to wear a full paintball mask, as it will protect the entire head as well as the area around the eyes.

There are other similar practices between the two sports. Just like the natural surroundings that are used in most sports paintball games, paintball airsoft also uses the cover of the woods to mimic the surroundings one might find if fighting in the jungle. This cover also adds to the adventure of the game, allowing airsoft and paintball players to hide behind trees and in bushes in order to strategically attack their opponents.

Just as more and more organizations are associating teamwork and camaraderie with paintball games, airsoft is being used by law enforcement agencies and military units to train new recruits. The use of airsoft in training provides a cost effective way to teach combat situations. The low impact of the airsoft pellets makes it easy for training to be done in areas that would not be possible with live ammo rounds or even blanks. When airsoft is used in this situation, participants train in real-life conditions and environments, allowing them to improve their combat skills and to understand what combat is really like.

If this sounds like a sport that you would enjoy, then you should really look into it further. Maybe you are already one of the many avid paintball players or paintball fans and are looking to learn more about airsoft. Paintball airsoft is a great way to compete in an outdoor competitive sport. Both sports are gaining more and more popularity, with paintballing actually being the most popular. No matter which sport is for you, whether it is airsoft or paint ball, each sport is sure to give you a feeling of team spirit.

It is that time of year when spring is right around the corner. Winter has had us trapped inside putting on those holiday pounds and everyone is looking to get fit again and ready for swimsuit season. There is a way to have fun and get active. Paintball is a great activity for coworkers, family and friends to gather together for some fun times and a great workout. Imagine sneaking through the forest just to take a shot at your buddy. Everyone will be laughing and competing with each other. You will need some gear and some help though if you want to win.

Airsoft is a sport that is steadily gaining in popularity as a military simulation game. Similar to paintball, Airsoft involves using realistic guns to try and outshoot your opponents. Unlike paintball, Airsoft involves shooting tiny plastic BBs that, while they don’t hurt, can leave welts on the body. Also unlike paintball, Airsoft players are forced to use the honor system to indicate when players are shot, relying on them to call out or play dead.

Spring powered Airsoft guns come in a variety of sizes and styles but the idea is that they are manufactured to emulate real gun models. For instance, there is a line of spring powered Airsoft guns that look just like shotguns law enforcement agencies use. The guns are spring powered, meaning they have to be pumped just like a real shotgun.

No Limited Battery Supply

Spring powered Airsoft guns have an advantage over their electric counterparts. The guns don’t rely on any other means of energy, therefore, they can fire repeatedly and one doesn’t have to worry about the battery dying. All that is required to ‘cock’ a spring powered Airsoft gun is to pump it, just like a real shotgun.

Airsoft can be played in a field or in the woods. With electric powered Airsoft guns, you’ll think you’re really on the battlefield, amidst the enemy. Even though the BBs don’t leave a mark, you’ll know when you’ve been hit as Airsoft guns fire with a fair amount of velocity.

You can find spring powered Airsoft guns on the Internet or at an Airsoft specialty store. Airsoft is gaining in such popularity in every country, it shouldn’t be hard to find a retailer. They aren’t that expensive and they offer hours of shoot-em-up fun. If you want to truly look like Law Enforcement or A Military Soldier, pick up your spring powered Airsoft gun today and let them know you mean business.

Take Special Care

Airsoft can be played by anyone, anytime, on a field, in the woods or even in your backyard. However, care should be taken when playing with your spring powered Airsoft gun. While they are made for playing, they are not toys. Eye protection should be worn, as well as heavy duty clothing to protect the skin. Once the proper precautions have been followed, load up, pump your spring powered Airsoft gun and fire away.

When law enforcement wants to control a room full of people, they usually use shotguns. Shotguns release a blast capable of hitting multiple targets. Whenever law enforcement enters a room full of people with their shotguns, they must pump the shotguns before hand to get the firearm ready, should they need to fire.

Imagine holding an exact replica of one of these shotguns with real pump action, just like law enforcement uses. Only your shotgun doesn’t shoot real shells, it shoots tiny plastic BBs. This is Airsoft, a tactical shoot-em-up game, similar to paint ball. Unlike paintball, however, Airsoft guns are made to look like the real thing.

The spring loaded Airsoft guns use pump action, just like real guns. This adds extra realism to the game as you shoot it out with friends or on the tournament circuit. The pump offers a blast with a high velocity so you’re sure to hit your target, even if they’re far away. You have to rely on the honor system, as the BBs that the guns fire don’t leave marks like paintballs, but your opponent will know he or she was hit when they feel the power offered by your spring loaded Airsoft gun.

Inexpensive And Widely Available

Spring loaded Airsoft guns aren’t very expensive and can be found wherever Airsoft guns are sold. Airsoft is steadily gaining in popularity and the spring loaded Airsoft guns are often sold over the internet or in specialty Airsoft stores. Chances are, there’s a store near you that sells spring loaded Airsoft guns.

Use Responsibly

The spring loaded Airsoft guns are made to look like replicas of actual gun models. For this reason, they should only be used to play with other Airsoft combatants. Never brandish your gun in public or pretend it’s real. Even though Airsoft guns are made of plastic, doesn’t mean you can’t get in trouble for scaring others with it.

If used responsibly, however, your spring loaded Airsoft gun will bring you hours of enjoyment as you battle it out with friends or with the best in the world in a tournament. You’ll love the look and feel of your spring loaded Airsoft gun and your friends will all want to get their hands on one. Whether you get an AK47, a 9mm, or an M16, your spring loaded Airsoft gun will look the part as you blast your way through your opponents to bring a win home for your team.

A spring airsoft gun uses the power of spring force to fire pellets or other forms of ammunition out of the barrel and towards a target. This type of gun is great as a toy as the spring power is generally safe for use within proper terms and boundaries of supervision and safety. Using a spring airsoft gun safely is the top priority, as it is with any types of guns such as this. There are plenty of stories of injuries and other incidents involving these types of guns that should serve as cautionary tales for those interesting in buying or using a spring airsoft gun.

Using this type of gun, therefore, should occur after reading the accompanying guide to safety and the proper regulatory accompaniment. These manuals are usually included with any legally purchased spring airsoft gun as a part of the legal standards involved with such purchases. It is the responsibility of the owner of the gun to use it in a safe and secure manner without becoming a threat to any member of legally defined society or natural persuasions. This refers to property damage as well, as shooting out your neighbour’s windows with your airsoft gun should not be an option, despite the temptation to do so.

After The Shot

When firing your airsoft gun, be sure you know about your target and where your gun’s ammunition is going. This ensures the utmost degree of safety and regulations are followed to the letter, dismissing any further culpability on your behalf as refers to bodily harm or other issues. It would be horrible to discover that you have misused the spring airsoft gun to the extent that you are now incurring the right to be charged on your criminal record and have hurt someone in the process. Do not allow yourself to become suspect to guideline abuse and follow all regulations properly.

While the spring airsoft gun is generally understood as a toy, there are many aspects to the gun that make it very serious. The realism of the gun means that it should never be brandished as a real gun would nor should it be hidden from view of anyone at anytime. There have been many reports of accidental firings because someone assumed a spring airsoft gun was an actual firearm. Do not become a statistic and properly store your gun where it belongs.

A pro airsoft gun can mean the difference between being an amateur airsoft player and being a grand champion of the risky adventure game. Use your wits and prepare yourself with your pro airsoft gun; the time to succeed is now and you had better be ready. If you are willing to take on a gun with the moniker of pro airsoft gun, you had better be ready to live up to the name and bring your “A-game” with you to the playing field. If not, you had better stay at home with your laser tag set hoping to succeed at something. It may sound harsh, but airsoft is no place for those that don’t know what they’re doing.

If you are ready to play, you might be the team captain with your pro airsoft gun. Get ready to amp up your team and get them ready for the battlefield. You need to function as a powerful ring general out there, ready and willing to go the extra mile for your team and to take pellets for them. You need to be able to throw your body around with reckless abandon and be ready to pursue the enemy at all costs. Airsoft might be a game, but you are a pro and nothing is a game when you are packing the heat of a pro airsoft gun on your back with a mission to seek and destroy.

Best Friends Become Bitter Enemies

So you’re ready and willing to play the game and you are armed to the hilt with power and precision based weapons. Get ready for the ride of your life as you strap your team to your back and carry them across enemy lines and into the misty darkness of the “other side”. Crossing the big hill in front of you will be harder with the basis of a team on your back, but you’re the pro now. You’ve got the pro airsoft gun as a part of your gear and, what’s even better than that you’re packing several reloads for the weapon. You’re ready to prime your enemy full of red paint within seconds.

Turning friends into enemies is one of the great things that the game of airsoft has been known to do. It is huge in Asia and other areas of the world in which competition is a virtue and a value above all else. Being the supreme victor is the ultimate prize in airsoft, so packing your pro airsoft gun gives you that extra edge you have been waiting for.

Playing the game of airsoft is quickly becoming one of the favourite pastimes amongst those into adventure or survival-type games. This game is generally played outdoors with a metal airsoft gun (or a plastic one) and is akin to paintball or laser tag. Using military tactics or police tactics, players try to ‘tag’ one another with the BB from the metal airsoft gun until a team or player is entirely eliminated. The game works on the honour system as there is no concrete way to determine when someone has been shot as there is in paintball or laser tag.

If you are looking to have some serious fun with friends, try the sport game of airsoft today in an open, safe area with lots of padding and protective eye gear. You will need this equipment because the BBs from the guns certainly sting considerably. Most of them even leave welts, to be careful when you are playing with a metal airsoft gun that you protect yourself at all costs and ensure to avoid injury by taking the proper safety precautions. Most airsoft guns come with regulations and precautions on an instruction paper, so heed these instructions before you head out anywhere to play.

Buying The Gun

The game of airsoft requires competitors, in most fields, to bring their own metal airsoft gun. These are replica guns that look almost exactly like their real counterparts, so take care as to take the proper safety precautions with these guns. There are many cases of confusion with these guns with police officers or military personnel that could have been avoided. Under no circumstances should you take an airsoft gun into an area in which it is not allowed, nor should you conceal the weapon in your clothing. In today’s edgy climate, do not take any chances with your metal airsoft gun.

You can generally purchase an airsoft gun online or in a store that specializes in outdoor games like paintball. These guns are made in Asia, for the most part, and replacement and enhancement parts are also available there for spicing up your metal airsoft gun and making it even more “deadly” in the game. Using the gun should always take place under adult supervision and only in the correct confines of game play. Do not remove the airsoft gun from its case without authorization and take care of all of the parts consistently.
